Dads: Date Your Wife

Dads, one of the best things a father can do for his children is love his wife. Not only does it give your kids a sense of security knowing that you care deeply for their mother, but it is an incredible example of them of what a good relationship looks like.

A good way to do that is to make sure your go on dates with your spouse. There are seasons when it is hard to make time, but you gotta do it. For me, it’s been hard with the busyness of life since my wife has been pregnant. But this weekend, we made a point of cutting out what we needed to in order to make time for just each other.

We went berry picking. It isn’t something we normally do. Actually, we’d never done it before together. But it was so much fun. Believe me, I know that it is hard to come up with things to do. You gotta get creative sometimes. And it pays off. It’s just one father-to-be’s advice, but I think it’ll go a long way for you.
