The Bible makes clear how important it is for us to encourage one another daily. This is one of the great purposes of the Church as a whole. We are to help each other along on our journey of faith with Jesus Christ.

God said, “It is not good for man to be alone.” This wasn’t only in regard to intimate relationships. We are meant for community. And we need that community to keep us accountable and to keep us looking to Jesus.

I experienced this encouragement last night while having dinner with Rachelle and my cousin who is a pastor in Cerritos, CA. We started talking about ministry and the things that God was doing and had done. As we kept talking and sharing, we all started to get excited about the possibilities God had for us. It was awesome! I hadn’t been that encouraged about ministry for a while and it helped me get excited about serving and helping others experience what God has for them.

Challenge: Look for ways that God can use you to encourage others.

God makes it quite clear in his Word that he has only one answer to every human need—his Son, Jesus Christ.

There has been quite a bit of buzz surrounding Chrome’s (Google’s web browser) graduation from beta. Gizmodo thinks that the non-beta Chrome will start stealing browser market-share because the all-powerful Google will now be pushing their browser and instead of Firefox.

Back in 2005, Google was paying good money to people who referred Friefox + Google Toolbar downloads. With their help, Mozilla’s Firefox gained a lot of attention and downloads. It became the major competition to Microsoft’s IE. However, now the non-profit Mozilla will be up against the big-money of Microsoft AND Google.

Only time will tell how the browser war will pan out. I just hope IE looses a few points.

Recently, I stumbled upon an inspiring project by photographer and filmmaker Andrew Zuckerman. The Wisdom Project is a one hour documentary and book featuring wisdom from 51 artists, authors, and leaders over age 65 from around the world. Interviewed in this project are the likes of Madeleine Albright, Chuck Close, Clint Eastwood, and Desmond Tutu.
